Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and over 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, customer relations, and regulatory compliance. Mandarin Chinese speaking skills are mandatory for this role. Responsibilities include acting as the primary customer contact for shipment information, incident/complaint management, ad hoc pricing, and claims, while ensuring correct cost and revenue capture and resolving issues.

Because for you it's the beginning.DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for an AFR Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Join us in connecting people and improving lives!In this AFR Specialist position Mandarin Chinese speaking skills are mandatory for this roleAct as Customer first point of contact for shipment information, incident/complaint management, ad hoc pricing, and claimsEnsure that correct costs and revenues are captured against customer's profile and take ownership tosolve simple and complex issuesAdminister shipment level activitiesincluding receipt of customer booking, documentation requirements, and all relatedlocal and internationaltransportEnsure the management of shipments in line with the customer service commitmentTrack, record, analyze and improve exceptions/operational irregularitiesResponsible for high shipment data qualityImplement necessary regulatory compliance procedures relating to commodity and locations for shipmentsRoute and/or assign shipments to relevant consol that meets our customers service commitment and maximizes our profitsIdentify critical shipments and new business that needs extrasupport/hypercareAnswer queries, prepare information for customer visits and participate in customer visits relating to operational topicsExecute tasks and activities while meeting resource management and productivity guidelines for the day-to-day operationsPrepare invoices, debit and credit notes and necessary back-up documentation ensuring customer invoice timeliness and accuracyInvestigate/supports invoice disputesResolve recurring issues, and suggest enhancements to processes focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiencyResolve performance issues of suppliers, and propose solutions to improve performanceMay provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positionsUse Industry sector or logistics specialist expertise in their day-to-day workNow, here is what we need from you!
