Ultimately, you will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining required quality standards and a fully stocked inventory.Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needsSource vendors, obtain quotations and compare prices, quality and delivery termsUpdate internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)Maintain updated records of invoices, purchase orders and contractsFollow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change ordersTrack orders and ensure timely deliveryCoordinate with internal departments to ensure purchasing requirements are metIdeally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel.
