ob Description: Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) – Privileges RequiredPosition: Specialist / Consultant Obstetrician & GynecologistDepartment: Obstetrics & GynecologyLocation: Taleen Medical Center, Doha, QatarJob SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services, including gynecological consultations, examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and ultrasound services, in accordance with the medical center's approved scope of practice and clinical privileges.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consultations and medical care for women's health conditions.Perform gynecological examinations, assessments, and follow-up consultations.Diagnose and manage common gynecological conditions and menstrual disorders.Provide preconception counseling, family planning, and contraceptive advice.Perform obstetric consultations and antenatal assessments within the approved scope of practice.Perform and interpret gynecological and obstetric ultrasound examinations, if appropriately qualified and privileged.Provide preventive healthcare, screening, and patient education.Maintain accurate medical records and follow infection control and patient safety protocols.Refer patients to hospitals or other specialists when advanced care or emergency management is required.Collaborate with the medical center team to ensure high-quality patient care.Qualifications & RequirementsRecognized medical degree in Medicine.Relevant postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.Valid Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) license or eligibility for licensing.Relevant clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology.Required clinical privileges for the procedures and services to be performed at the medical center, subject to DHP requirements and facility approval.Ultrasound qualifications and experience are preferred.Good communication and patient-care skills.Important NoteThe physician must hold the appropriate Qatar license and obtain the required facility privileges before performing any restricted clinical procedures.
