Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Laboratory Science, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience selling laboratory medical devices in hematology (preferred: instruments and reagent/consumables model).Strong understanding of hematology workflows and customer needs in laboratory settings (blood analysis, reagent usage, QC, maintenance/service considerations).Experience managing distributors/partners (if applicable) and navigating hospital/lab procurement processes.

Job SummaryThe Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets for laboratory medical devices in hematology (e.g., hematology analyzers, reagents, consumables, QC controls, and related solutions). The role includes managing customer relationships, building pipeline, coordinating with technical/clinical teams, and ensuring accurate forecasting and strong market coverage within the assigned territory.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for hematology product lines (instruments + reagents/consumables, service contracts, and related offerings).Develop and execute a territory/business plan including customer segmentation, prospecting strategy, and growth initiatives.Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, needs assessment, proposal preparation, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and closing.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts such as laboratories, hospital labs, and clinical decision makers (e.g., lab directors, hematologists, pathologists, lab technicians—where applicable).Identify market opportunities, competitor activities, and product gaps; provide timely market feedback to management.Coordinate with internal teams (Applications/Clinical Specialists, Service, Marketing, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.Promote value of products through technical presentations, training, and/or coordination of on-site demos.Ensure accurate CRM updates, pipeline management, and reporting (forecast, activity metrics, customer status).Support service/AMC expansion and customer retention through ongoing follow-up and proactive account management.Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device sales and promotional activities.
