The Smart City Operations Specialist oversees the day-to-day operations, integration, and performance of the city’s digital and physical smart systems. Key Responsibilities:System Monitoring & Management: Oversee real-time smart city dashboards (CCTV, smart lighting, smart irrigation, automated waste management, and traffic systems) to ensure peak operational health. IoT & Network Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot field-level hardware, including edge gateways, IoT sensors, and communication nodes. Data Integration & Analytics: Analyze system telemetry to identify operational bottlenecks, predict maintenance needs, and optimize resource allocation. Incident Response: Act as the first line of defense for smart system outages or cyber-physical anomalies, implementing quick workarounds or coordinating with IT engineering for resolution.
