Overview of the role The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales and creating a positive customer experience in the Al Futtaim Watches & Jewellery stores. The role involves both sales generation and operational duties as assigned by the store management team. The representative must uphold cleanliness and visual presentation standards to maintain a pleasant shopping environment. As part of daily operations, the representative assists in training new staff, resolving POS issues, and ensuring compliance with pricing procedures. The position requires flexibility, punctuality, and collaboration with store management and peers to meet organizational goals. A successful Retail Sales Representative is one who can consistently deliver excellent customer service and contribute positively to store operations. What you will do Sales and Customer Service Create a positive shopping environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Provide excellent customer service by being aware of product categories and assisting customers professionally. Greet customers with a smile and a friendly greeting upon entering the store. Provide customers with current and relevant product information and ensure compliance with in-store pricing procedures. Offer efficient service at the cash register, including the promotion of gift cards and capturing customer information. Sincerely thank customers upon exit and invite them to return. Store Operations Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening, closing, and managing security aspects. Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager if required. Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations and handle corrective actions at the POS. Participate in store meetings and inventories, ensuring a positive attitude toward merchandise and the brand. Meet or exceed weekly sales goals as set by management. Housekeeping and Presentation Perform housekeeping duties as required to maintain store standards. Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
