Requirements
The role requires hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, specifically RHEL, Rocky Linux, or similar. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration is necessary. Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, scripting languages such as Bash and Python, Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code is also important. A good understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, monitoring, and security fundamentals is expected, along with the ability to troubleshoot production systems. HPC, Slurm, GPU computing, high-performance storage, or high-speed networking experience is a plus.
Description
Purpose of the Job: Support and improve Linux-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on system administration, automation, containers, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. The role supports secure, reliable production services, while HPC exposure is considered an advantage.Responsibilities and Duties:● Hands-on experience Linux systems administration experience.● Experience with RHEL, Rocky Linux, or similar enterprise Linux distributions.● Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.● Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and basic container orchestration.● Familiarity with Ansible, Bash, Python, Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.● Good understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, identity, monitoring, and security fundamentals.● Ability to troubleshoot production systems and support day-to-day infrastructure operations.● HPC, Slurm, GPU computing, high-performance storage, or high-speed networking experience is a preferred bonusEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.Experience:1-2 years experience Linux systems administration.Skills and Abilities:Relevant Linux, cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are an advantage.
