Use assessment effectively to adapt teaching, provide meaningful feedback, track progress and implement timely support or challenge.
Contribute to coherent Art and Design & Technology curricula from primary into secondary, including schemes of work, practical resources, assessment and moderation, exhibitions and preparation for future examination and post-16 pathways.
Manage materials, equipment and learning spaces responsibly, following all health and safety, risk-assessment and safeguarding requirements.
Promote Art and Design & Technology beyond the classroom through exhibitions, displays, clubs, competitions, enterprise, community projects and cross-curricular opportunities.
Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and families, contributing actively to pastoral care, professional learning and the wider life of the school.
Demonstrate a reflective, solution-focused high-performance mindset and engage fully in coaching, appraisal and quality assurance.

The ability to develop students’ creativity, design thinking, visual literacy, problem-solving and critical evaluation.
