Requirements
Candidates must hold a B.Ed. or Bachelor's degree with a PGCE in Design & Technology, Engineering, Electronics, Product Design, or a closely related discipline, along with QTS (or equivalent). Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with experience teaching Electronics across Key Stages 3 & 4. Specialist expertise in Electronics, including teaching electronic systems, circuit design, microcontrollers, embedded systems, programming, and product development, is required. Confidence in delivering practical learning using modern workshop equipment and digital technologies such as CAD/CAM, laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC equipment, and electronics prototyping platforms is essential. Experience teaching I/GCSE, IGCSE, and/or A Level Design & Technology, 3D Design, or Electronics qualifications is preferred.
