Key responsibilities
Provide expert medical care and leadership in the ICU setting.
Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients.
Manage acute and life-threatening conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
Oversee mechanical ventilation management and advanced respiratory support techniques.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiology, surgery, nursing, respiratory therapy, and other specialties.
Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency interventions when necessary.
Monitor and adjust treatments based on continuous patient data including laboratory and imaging results.
Ensure maintenance of accurate and detailed clinical documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and ongoing medical education.
Adhere strictly to UAE healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
