Area Managers collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow execution while maintaining Amazon's high standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence.Key job responsibilitiesKey Roles & Responsibilities People LeadershipManage a team of 50–150+ associates, depending on the department.Coach, develop, and motivate associates and Process Assistants (PAs).Conduct performance reviews, feedback sessions, and engagement activities.Manage attendance, productivity, and behavioral performance. Safety ManagementDrive a strong safety culture.Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.Conduct safety audits, GEMBA walks, and risk assessments.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
