Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.10–15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial engineering.Previous experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing.Strong experience in manufacturing process development, process standardization, and process optimization.Proven experience in cycle-time studies, labor standards, manpower calculations, and manufacturing routings.Experience in developing and maintaining manufacturing routings within an ERP environment.Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Description
Lead and manage the Process Engineering function and set priorities in alignment with manufacturing and production requirements.Develop and maintain process engineering standards, methodologies, and procedures across manufacturing operations.Review and approve manufacturing routings, standard cycle times, labor standards, SOPs, work instructions, and other process documentation.Oversee process capacity and manpower calculations based on production plans, standard times, and manufacturing requirements.Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, excessive cycle times, and opportunities for productivity improvement.Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with Operational Excellence.Ensure accurate and up-to-date manufacturing routings and process data within the ERP system.Coordinate with Production and Supply Chain to ensure process standards and capacity requirements are aligned with production plans.Collaborate with Projects and Engineering on new equipment, production lines, and process changes, ensuring all process requirements are properly defined.Monitor compliance with approved process standards through periodic audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Provide technical support to Production in resolving complex and recurring process-related issues.Monitor Process Engineering KPIs and report performance, risks, achievements, and improvement opportunities to management.Lead, coach, and develop the Process Engineering team and ensure appropriate technical capability and performance.Ensure effective training and knowledge transfer regarding new processes, SOPs, work instructions, and standard methods.Evaluate the impact of changes in production volume, product mix, equipment, and manufacturing methods on capacity, manpower, and productivity.Ensure process improvement initiatives deliver measurable and sustainable results.
