The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, supporting audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and assisting in the preparation of tax returns and related documentation. The role also involves reviewing work prepared by junior team members, identifying process improvements, and contributing to business advisory engagements through financial analysis and insights.
