MD, Pharmacist or Dentist qualification is required. Minimum five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or two years in medical affairs is necessary. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, along with strong analytical, conceptual, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory, and French is a plus. Experience in rare disease, neurology, and hematology is preferable.

Job ObjectiveOne sentence summary of the main objective of the job, the most important activities and themeans and guidelines to obtain the objectives.The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific bridge between the pharmaceuticalcompany and the medical community, delivering accurate, unbiased clinical information,supporting evidence-based medicine, and fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders(KOLs) to ensure the safe and effective use of therapies without any sales KPIs .Maintain scientificleadership for the GEDP organization in the scientific community though regular communicationand medical activities.EnvironmentInternal and external interactions i.e.: with other departments/divisions, international scope,providers, customers)Internal: Commercial team, access, compliance, and regulatory affairs team.External: Health care professionals and organization, patient association groups and payors.Key responsibilityScientific Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcareprofessionals.Exchange unbiased scientific and clinical information related to the Grifols Egypt products andtherapeutic areas.External medical engagements activities and communication plan for GEPD products in prelaunchphases.Medical Education:Provide training and scientific support to internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, regulatory).Support in delivering the scientific presentations /inputs at medical congresses, advisory boards,and investigator meetings.Support for patient engagement activities and projects.Support in executing the medical affairs strategy and tactical plan.Clinical Support:Support clinical trials by identifying investigators, assisting in site selection, and maintainingcommunication during trials.Gather clinical insights and feedback from the field to inform research, development, andlifecycle management.Medical Information & Compliance:Respond to unprompted, unsolicited medical inquiries in a compliant, non-promotional manner.Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.Strategic Collaboration:Collaborate with medical advisors, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and commercial teams toalign field insights with strategy.Contribute to medical strategy planning, publication development, and scientificcommunication.Real-World Evidence & Insights:Support real-world data generation, medical research collaborations, and patient registries.Translate medical insights into actionable business and R&D strategiesMedical Scientific Liaison Job DescriptionAcademic experience requiredMD, Pharmacist or DentistProfessional Experience RequiredWorking in pharma industry with experience more than five years in pharmaceutical industry ortwo years in medical affairs.Preferable with experience in rare disease, neurology, and hematology.Computing SkillsAdvanced for PowerPoint , excel and word.Personal SkillsStrong analytical, conceptual and planning skills.Self-challenging and motivating personality.Growth mindset.Strong problem solving and process management skills.Negotiation and influencing skills – internal and external.Balance agility with discipline.Demonstrate authenticity & courage.LanguagesFluency in English.French is a plus.
