Evaluates their usefulness and potential value for the Organization.• Supervises professional, technical and support staff engaged in performing duties related to specialization.Communication/Documentation Skill• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Proficiency in creating accurate and accessible documentation for projects and procedures.• Skill in negotiating with vendors and resolving conflicts to ensure project success.• Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders clearly and concisely.• Essential skills for drafting comprehensive and effective RFPs, RFQs, and similar documents to facilitate successful vendor selection and project execution.Problem Solving Skills• Capable of leading and providing guidance to the team to resolve complex network infrastructure problems.• Capable to resolve issues escalated internally.• Minimum 15 years of in managing enterprise level network environments, supporting large business organizations.• Extensive experience in designing, delivering, and operating large scale, branch wide, and multi site distributed network infrastructures.• Proven experience working in client operational environments with multi tenancy models, shared infrastructure, and service segregation requirements.• Strong understanding of network technologies, architectures, protocols, security, resilience, and industry best practices across core, data center, WAN, and access networks.• Demonstrated ability to balance deep technical expertise with managerial, operational, and strategic responsibilities.• Solid knowledge of project and program management methodologies, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery governance.• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, procurement processes including RFP preparation, technical evaluation, and vendor selection, as well as negotiation and management of complex technical contracts and SLAs.• Proven track record of strategic planning, service optimization, and continuous improvement in complex IT and network environments.• Strong leadership capability to manage, mentor, and develop multi disciplinary technical teams.• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills, particularly in client facing and vendor managed environments.• Possession of a recognized bachelor's or Master degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or a related area.• Significant experience in network infrastructure management, typically 8+ years, supported by a minimum of 10 years of technical network experience in enterprise level, multi site and large business organization environments.• Relevant certifications such as CCIE (SP, R&S, Wireless, or Data Center) (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is highly recommended.• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is plus.• Experience with Routing and switching, including protocols like TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP.• Skill in using monitoring tools to oversee network performance and optimize efficiency.• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.• Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies to ensure network scalability and performance.• Understanding of disaster recovery planning and implementation, ensuring network resilience.• Experience in managing relationships with network hardware/software vendors and service providers.• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and integration of cloud services into network infrastructure.• Knowledge in Virtualization technologies like ACI, NSX, SD-WAN, SD-ACESS etc.• Knowledge in VPN Technologies like IPSec, DMVPN, GRE, GETVPN etc.• Proficiency in wireless networking, including 802.11 Standards, Wireless Controllers, RF Management, SSID Configuration, Wireless Security, Tunneling and Encryption.• Proficiency in LDP, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, AToM, CsC, Inter-AS, MPLS-TE, and FRR.• Expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Multi-Protocol BGP (MP-BGP) for routing and managing network traffic.
