About the role As a Year 1 Educator, you will play a key role in creating an engaging, supportive and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. The successful candidate will be passionate about education, committed to continuous improvement and confident in delivering an enriched Year 1 curriculum that inspires children and supports their individual learning needs. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant teaching qualification Relevant early years/primary education qualifications such as CACHE Level 3, HND, BTEC, PGCE or equivalent Strong academic background and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a similar setting Proven experience delivering an enriched Year 1 curriculum Strong understanding of children's learning and development Experience creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate learning experiences for Year 1 students Deliver an enriched Year 1 curriculum that develops children's academic, social and emotional skills Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Inspire children and develop a genuine passion for learning Monitor, assess and document children's progress and development Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual children's learning needs Build positive and professional relationships with parents and maintain open communication regarding children's progress and wellbeing Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to support the overall success of the nursery Contribute positively to extracurricular activities and wider nursery initiatives Liaise effectively with colleagues and work flexibly as part of a collaborative team Maintain high standards of classroom organisation, professionalism and safeguarding Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional learning and best practice Support the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in accordance with KFG policies and procedures The ideal candidate We are looking for someone who is: Dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate about education Creative and always willing to learn, improve and develop Vibrant, positive and committed to professional growth Highly organised with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail A confident and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing Able to inspire children and ignite a genuine passion for learning A strong team player who values collaboration and positive working relationships Flexible and able to work effectively with colleagues, parents and management Passionate about achieving the best academic and developmental outcomes for every child Committed to creating a happy, safe and nurturing learning environment Why join Kids First Group?
