Role Overview Manage and drive fleet sales operations for the assigned brand portfolio to achieve sales, profitability, and customer retention objectives in alignment with the organization’s commercial strategy. The role is responsible for implementing fleet sales plans, managing customer and stakeholder relationships, overseeing operational execution of fleet activities, and ensuring delivery of sustainable business growth while maintaining compliance with pricing, contractual, and operational standards. Strategic Roles and Responsibilities Contribute to development of sales forecasts, budgets, and tactical business plans aligned with overall fleet business objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and recommend appropriate commercial actions. Support development of customer acquisition and retention strategies to strengthen fleet market positioning across the assigned brand portfolio. Function Roles and Responsibilities Manage day-to-day fleet sales activities to ensure achievement of sales targets, profitability objectives, and operational KPIs. Monitor implementation of fleet sales plans and adjust operational activities in response to changing market conditions or business priorities. Ensure compliance with approved pricing, stocking, and contractual policies across all fleet transactions. Oversee fleet vehicle ordering, allocation, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery and effective customer communication. Review sales pipeline activities, prospect generation sources, and conversion performance to improve business effectiveness. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate customers, government entities, and key business stakeholders to support business growth and customer retention. Manage escalated customer issues and critical operational concerns to ensure timely and effective resolution. Coordinate with Customer Experience, Marketing, and After Sales teams to enhance customer engagement and support long-term account management. Support preparation and management of fleet operational budgets and monitor expenditure against approved financial parameters. Monitor profitability and fleet support spend across sales channels to ensure alignment with commercial objectives. Ensure commercial proposals, quotations, and customer offers are accurately prepared and aligned with approved pricing structures. Monitor contractual commitments and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms throughout the contract lifecycle. Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer trends to identify opportunities and risks within the fleet business environment. Develop and maintain a strong external business network to enhance market awareness and support business development initiatives. Provide market intelligence and operational insights to support management decision-making and strategic planning. Review operational and sales reports to monitor business performance, customer trends, and team productivity. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of fleet sales activities and operational KPIs to management. Monitor team performance against established sales and service targets and implement corrective actions where required. Provide leadership, direction, and operational guidance to Fleet Sales Advisors and support staff to ensure achievement of business objectives. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development support to improve individual and team capability. Promote a customer-focused and performance-driven culture aligned with organizational values and standards. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, automotive management, or related discipline. Minimum 7 years of automotive sales experience, preferably within fleet sales or fleet management environments, including exposure to corporate and government accounts. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of automotive fleet operations and commercial sales processes. Strong negotiation, relationship management, and customer engagement capability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret sales performance and market intelligence data. Strong leadership and team management capability. Good understanding of regional fleet market dynamics and customer requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
