Supervise and coordinate daily activities of waste sorting team members
Set clear performance targets and monitor achievement against KPIs (recovery rates, contamination levels, throughput)
Implement motivational strategies including recognition programs, incentive schemes, and performance feedback
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and development opportunities
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages continuous improvement
Provide coaching and mentoring to develop team skills and career progression
Requirements:
Experience in Waste Sorting
Diploma or equivalent degree
Demonstrate expert knowledge of material types including: Metals (ferrous and non-ferrous: aluminum, copper, steel)
Plastics (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and other polymers) Paper & Cardboard (grades, contamination risks)
GlassTextiles (reusable vs. non-reusable), Electronics (e-waste components and hazards),
Organic materials (composting potential), Minimum 2 years experience.
