Description

If you are a Project Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Based in our Cranberry Township, PA office, you will lead and manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects across hydro, solar, battery, and wind applications. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver innovative solutions that help power generation facilities operate at peak performance. From project planning and procurement through commissioning, closeout, and warranty support, you will play a key role in driving successful project outcomes while contributing to the growth of Emerson's renewable energy business.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Establish clear project expectations and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of engineering, electrical, mechanical, and specialty subcontractors.

  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, proposals, correspondence, compliance records, and project archives.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks while collaborating with technical teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Anticipate and address scope changes, facilitating productive discussions and negotiations to support project success.

  • Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.

  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and execution.

  • Lead pre-bid meetings, site visits, project kickoff meetings, and project review sessions.

  • Partner with Sales and other business teams to support proposal development and guide opportunities through the bidding process.

  • Share lessons learned and provide recommendations that continuously improve project execution practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, other technical discipline or equivalent
  • 3+ years of technical project management experience 
  • Strong autonomous work ethic combined with self-directed leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of standard proposal development tools and processes
  • Able to travel up to 20% 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
     

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
