Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, with millwork or architectural woodwork preferred. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D and Microvellum are a plus), with a solid understanding of millwork construction methods and fabrication processes. Must be able to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and produce shop drawings for commercial projects with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, detail-driven solutions from design through fabrication.Position OverviewWe are seeking an Experienced Remote Millwork Engineer to support the development of detailed, production-ready shop drawings.This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams while also collaborating with senior leadership on complex projects. Candidates with leadership experience or the ability to mentor junior drafters will be highly valued.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for architectural millwork and custom fabricationInterpret and translate architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent into accurate technical drawingsEnsure all drawings are coordinated, accurate, and production-readyCollaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and manufacturing teamsReview and verify dimensions, field measurements, and constructabilityPerform material takeoffs and develop cut listsManage RFIs, revisions, and redline updates efficientlyMaintain drawing standards, file organization, and documentationAssist in improving drafting workflows and maintaining engineering standards(Senior Level) Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafters and support team coordinationQualificationsMinimum of 3+years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (millwork or architectural woodwork preferred)Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D and Microvellum are a plus)Solid understanding of millwork construction methods and fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specificationsExperience producing shop drawings for commercial projectsStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience with high-end commercial millwork projectsFamiliarity with AWI standardsExperience with remote collaboration tools and workflowsPrior experience mentoring or supporting junior team membersPortfolio and sample drawing packages demonstrating relevant commercial millwork/casework are required.
