Program and project management support the delivery of technical risk reduction, reliability, and operational excellence.Do you want to empower billions across the world Come and join us in CO+I and be at the forefront of the action!ResponsibilitiesTechnical CE Engineering & DeliveryOwn technical delivery for datacenter electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including power, cooling, switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers and chillers. Troubleshoot recurring failures, improve maintenance effectiveness and deliver corrective actions, upgrades, commissioning and lifecycle replacements. Operational Excellence, Risk & ComplianceImprove availability, SEV reduction, Break-Fix backlog, TTR and Preventive Maintenance performance through dashboards, data analysis, action plans and business reviews. Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with Microsoft standards, MOP/SOP, change-management, DCOS, ISO and audit requirements. Project, Portfolio & Cross-Functional LeadershipTranslate engineering and operational risks into technically scoped projects, managing priorities, roadmaps, dependencies and resources. Partner with CE Operations Managers, engineers, vendors and regional or global teams to drive alignment and lead campus- or metro-wide initiatives. Communication, Ownership & CultureCommunicate risks, blockers and decisions clearly, drive accountability and promote collaboration, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making and Microsoft values. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.  Hands-on datacenter Critical Environment experience with power, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, cooling, and controls.  Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, cooling, and life-safety systems using EPMS, BCM, and BAS.  Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:Additional technical education or qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering, power systems, cooling/HVAC, controls, computer science, telecommunications or a related technical trade. Relevant certifications such as ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, network certifications, ITIL or CDCP; project-management training or PMP is beneficial when applied to technical engineering delivery. Experience with root-cause analysis, commissioning, technical acceptance, switching operations, maintenance strategy or lifecycle management of critical electrical and mechanical systems. Experience delivering large-scale datacenter infrastructure upgrades within live Critical Environment operations.
