Job PurposeTo manage and control the company's complete Export & Import (EXIM) operations, ensuring timely documentation, customs clearance, shipment coordination, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and smooth movement of raw materials and finished goods for the Egypt manufacturing plant.2. Key ResponsibilitiesExport ManagementManage end-to-end export operations including order processing, shipment planning, documentation, and customs clearance.Prepare and verify export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, COO, and shipping documents.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transporters.Ensure timely shipment dispatch and delivery as per customer requirements.Handle Letter of Credit (LC), advance payment, and other export payment terms.Monitor export proceeds, bank documentation, and e-BRC/export realization where applicable.Import ManagementManage imports of raw materials, chemicals, machinery, spare parts, and other plant requirements.Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal procurement teams.Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of imported materials to the plant.Monitor import documentation, duties, taxes, freight, demurrage, detention, and other related costs.Ensure proper classification and documentation for imported goods.Customs & Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with Egyptian customs, import-export regulations, foreign trade requirements, and applicable government authorities.Coordinate customs clearance and resolve documentation or regulatory issues.Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions and statutory documents.Ensure compliance with product-specific requirements for chemical/raw material imports and exports.Commercial & Cost ManagementObtain and compare freight and logistics quotations.Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and logistics service providers.Monitor freight, customs, clearance, demurrage, detention, and other logistics costs.Identify opportunities to reduce EXIM costs and improve shipment efficiency.Coordination & MISCoordinate closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Finance, Sales, and Logistics teams.Track shipment status and provide regular updates to management.Prepare EXIM MIS covering shipments, pending documentation, customs clearance, freight costs, and inventory movement.Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.Ensure timely resolution of shipment delays and operational issues.3. Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.8–12 years of relevant EXIM experience, preferably in a manufacturing/chemical industry.Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, shipping, and international trade procedures.Experience handling both imports of raw materials and exports of finished products.Good knowledge of LC, customs documentation, freight negotiation, and logistics coordination.Experience working with ERP/SAP and MS Excel.Strong communication and coordination skills.Good command of English; Arabic knowledge will be an advantage.Experience in an Egypt-based manufacturing company, particularly in Suez or industrial zones, will be preferred.
