Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, specialists, nurses, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative diseases, fractures, and other orthopedic conditions.
Perform orthopedic procedures according to subspecialty scope, including arthroscopy, arthroplasty, trauma fixation, or hand and foot procedures where applicable.
Evaluate surgical candidates, obtain informed consent, and provide appropriate perioperative care.
Collaborate with radiology, anaesthesia, physiotherapy, sports medicine, and rehabilitation teams to support comprehensive patient management.
Provide outpatient follow-up, functional recovery planning, and management of postoperative or treatment-related complications.
Participate in surgical audits, theatre safety initiatives, infection prevention, and clinical governance activities.
