Requirements
Candidates must be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights. Ideally, qualified from a recognized institution with a successful career in Minerals, Metals, Chemicals, and Heavy Industry sectors in Western Australia. Experience in leadership roles and understanding of major project lifecycles are required. Strong relationship-building skills and a broad network across Mining & Chemicals (WA & NT) with proven experience introducing innovative client-valued solutions are essential. Must be customer-focused with a track record of sales targets and business growth, understand customer needs and consulting frameworks, possess excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, strong communication abilities, a solutions mindset, persistence, resilience, and be able to travel when required. Previous experience leading people is also expected.

Wood is recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Minerals & Metals covering the Mining and Chemicals markets, across all three business units (Consulting, Projects and Operations).  This is a key leadership role based in Perth, supporting the Growth and Development team in building client relationships and growing the business. This is a permanent, full-time basis role.
