Registered in Bermuda as a limited liability company, with operational headquarters in Amman, Jordan and offices in London, Malta, Bermuda, Norway, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Casablanca, we aim to deliver outstanding levels of service to our clients and brokers. Utilizing detailed understanding of complex product features, benefits, exclusions and warranties and their application to various situations to evaluate new and renewal submissions to prepare and consider reinsurance risks, reinsurance premiums, client requirements, coverage, conditions of reinsurance contracts and apply general principles of risk management and risk mitigation. In conjunction with internal resources and in particular the political violence team, utilise existing and developing market contacts to grow, develop and monitor the portfolio, in line with delegated underwriting authority. Benchmarking and monitoring key performance indicators in order to continue ongoing development of best practice guidelines to assure consistency across the collaborative network. Work closely with all IGI underwriters within the group. Participating in regular conference calls and internal strategy meetings to discuss ongoing business development and mutual benefits and underwriting approaches. Build up and strengthen the network of producing brokers throughout the MENA region to maintain IGI's growth and further strengthen the market presence. (This includes regular business travel to meet new and existing clients, cedants and brokers throughout the region). Prepare underwriting reports, comment on statistical analysis for regular senior management review, ensuring data accuracy at all times. Fully comply with underwriting authority. Utilize continuous quality and improvement philosophies, techniques and tools in all aspects of the position. Liaise with all relevant internal departments to ensure awareness of aggregation, claims and accounting issues.
