A prestigious multispecialty hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is expanding its urology and andrology services and is seeking a highly skilled consultant specialist urologist to join its advanced surgical team. This role is designed for specialists passionate about delivering comprehensive urological care, supported by cutting edge diagnostic tools, endourology suites, and minimally invasive surgical technologies.
The hospital is developing a center of excellence for urology, offering integrated services across kidney, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive health, including advanced management of urological cancers, stone disease, and functional disorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of urological conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes.
Key responsibilities – urology
Diagnose and manage urological disorders, including kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate conditions, and bladder disorders
Perform urological surgical procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive surgeries
Manage urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers in collaboration with oncology teams
Perform endourological procedures, such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and lithotripsy
Evaluate and treat male reproductive health conditions, including infertility and erectile dysfunction
Manage benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and other lower urinary tract symptoms
Provide care for urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders
Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up care
Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care
Utilise advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to support clinical decision-making
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure adherence to international urology guidelines and UAE healthcare regulations
