The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, with a strong focus on preventive healthcare, accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and family-centered care. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations and clinical examinations. Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in children. Provide routine health assessments and monitor children's physical, developmental, and emotional well-being. Manage common pediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, asthma, and childhood infections. Assess and manage children presenting with fever, cough, breathing difficulties, dehydration, abdominal pain, and other acute complaints. Monitor child growth and development and identify developmental concerns at an early stage. Provide age-appropriate vaccination and immunization guidance according to applicable clinical protocols. Assess nutritional status and provide appropriate dietary and health advice. Manage children with chronic medical conditions and coordinate long-term follow-up. Recognize children requiring urgent or specialized care and arrange appropriate referrals. Review and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations. Provide appropriate pediatric emergency assessment and initial stabilization within the physician's scope of practice. Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive-care advice, and follow-up requirements clearly to parents and caregivers. Work closely with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential patient records. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, infection-control, and patient-safety initiatives. Promote preventive healthcare, healthy childhood development, and family education. Follow applicable UAE healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, professional standards, and facility policies. Requirements MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification. Recognized postgraduate qualification in paediatrics / pediatrics. Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
