Requirements
The role requires expertise in diagnosing and managing complex ENT and Head & Neck conditions, performing relevant surgical procedures, and managing various head and neck pathologies. Candidates should be proficient in diagnostic ENT procedures, pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and post-operative care. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in clinical governance, audits, and service development are also key requirements.
Description
Diagnose and manage complex ENT and Head & Neck conditions.Perform Head & Neck surgical procedures within the scope of expertise and privileges.Manage head and neck tumors, neck masses, salivary gland disorders, thyroid-related ENT conditions, and other relevant pathologies.Perform procedures such as nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, and other diagnostic ENT procedures.Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, post-operative care, and follow-up.Collaborate with Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, Anesthesia, and other multidisciplinary teams.Manage emergency ENT cases, including airway emergencies and epistaxis.Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, and service development.Contribute to the growth and development of the Head & Neck Surgery service.
