A/C Technician

Required Skills

Proven experience as an A/C Technician with certification in HVAC or a relevant field. Strong knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. Good communication skills for client and team interaction are also essential.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled A/C Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.Job Responsibility-Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the Hotel – freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.Maintain preventively all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the HotelCheck on performance of refrigeration systems and componentsVerify all door closing systems on walk in coolers / freezer (door gaskets / latches)Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makersWork on maintenance requests from all departmentsEnsure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filtersCheck on performance of air-conditioning and chill water systemsCooperate with all engineering colleagues in detention of failures of air-condition and refrigeration system and function set upStrict control on venting of CFC's to atmosphereOverhauling of air-condition / refrigeration equipment and systemsCheck all refrigeration and oil levels and control of major repairsCooperate and inform Engineering Storekeeper on purchase of partsCarry out all works as per the country technical regulations and safety standardsOperate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environmentComply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures Candidate Requirements- Proven experience as an A/C Technician Certification in HVAC or a relevant field Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication skills to interact with clients and team membersSkillsKnowledge of HVAC systems and components Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams Attention to detail and accuracy in work Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Physical strength and stamina for lifting and working in various conditions Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively Compliance with safety regulations and procedures Continuous learning to stay updated on new technologies and practices.
