The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and critical conditions, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume hospital environment. Key responsibilities Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of patients presenting to the emergency department. Manage a broad range of medical, surgical, traumatic, and acute presentations. Lead the initial assessment and resuscitation of critically ill and injured patients. Perform and supervise emergency procedures within the scope of emergency medicine practice. Manage patients requiring advanced airway management, cardiovascular stabilization, trauma care, and emergency interventions. Coordinate patient care with specialists, intensivists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary teams. Determine appropriate disposition, including admission, transfer, observation, or discharge. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and handover. Participate in emergency department protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient-safety programs. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior physicians and other members of the emergency care team. Participate in teaching, training, and continuing professional development activities. Contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and evidence-based emergency care. Respond effectively to emergency and resuscitation situations within the hospital.
