Job description How does your working day look like… Revenue responsibilities: Monitor reservations and revenue systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date availability, rates, and inventory across all channels. Develop action plans to reach daily / monthly / yearly KPIs. Complete all rooms forecasting to accurately project demand and pick up for groups and transient, both short and long term. Maintain records pertaining to market segments, transient pace numbers, forecasts, and other rooms’ data. Coordinate updates/stay restrictions or rate changes to reflect the hotel selling strategy in response to the market demand. Record competitive set pricing and yield strategies and complete analysis on the market and its opportunities based upon the competition and previous history. Make sure rate leakages are handled and solved in a timely manner. Use Fornova system to resolve all the rate leakages for all connected partners. Develop and implement strategies to optimize room revenue and occupancy levels. Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make informed decisions in collaboration with Cluster Director of Revenue Management. Monitor and adjust room rates based on market conditions and demand fluctuations in collaboration with Cluster Director of Revenue Management. Make sure rate plans are correctly indexed / loaded and distributed to all channels. Utilize revenue management tools and systems to forecast demand and maximize revenue potential. Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on analysis. Group rate evaluation of high demand exhibitions. Prepare the weekly Rev Max meetings and ensure completion of slides by all allied departments. E-commerce responsibilities: In collaboration with appointed agency and regional e-commerce team: Measure/evaluate hotel performance – SEO, SEM and PPC campaigns. Continuously optimize content (across all languages) - ensure efficient use of researched keywords and recommend data-driven amends. Review and monitor the content and search engine ranking of competitors’ websites and react appropriately to maintain competitiveness. Review content across the hotel direct websites (25hours and All.com) and liaise with marketing for required changes. Collaborate with Cendyn to ensure ROAS on Metasearch campaigns. Liaise with the web agency and corporate office for any website/IBE enhancements. In collaboration with hotel marketing: Develop and implement eMarketing initiatives for the hotel’s key feeder markets to increase the number of qualified visitors to the hotel website, thus increasing revenues and conversion. Identify and develop joint e-commerce initiatives with qualified local, regional, and/or national partners/sites. Establish and implement the hotel’s annual advertising plan for electronic channels and assist with matters related to creative and media planning for PPC. Ensure brand and marketing message on electronic channels is consistent with overall marketing activities, i.e., special promotions/offers, etc. Research and benchmark electronic media adverts and articles to ensure that the hotel remains a market leader and collaborates with PR & Marketing closely. Review and regularly monitor the hotel’s primary competition set and maintain digital performance competitiveness. Website analytics – REV Analyse the website user behaviour, site performance, source of referrals, etc.; and act accordingly. Analyse the website production (bookings) reports available from the website statistical package and/or from the hotel’s Opera property management system or any other such MIS tool. Provide monthly reports on website KPI to the hotel’s management team and the regional and corporate offices. Manage Booking.com Sponsored Ads and Expedia Travel Ads to achieve fair ROAs. Drive digital direct goals set by Ennismore regional and corporate office. Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the hospitality sector.
