About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead day-to-day logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations. This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for ensuring goods move efficiently from receiving through to final delivery, managing a team, and hitting service-level and cost targets.What You'll DoOversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.Manage transportation and distribution planning, including carrier coordination, route/delivery scheduling, and freight cost control.Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliation, and discipline around stock movement processes.Monitor and report on logistics KPIs: on-time delivery, order accuracy, freight cost per unit, warehouse utilization, and fulfillment lead time.Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including performance reviews and rate negotiations.Lead, schedule, and develop the warehouse and logistics team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in the warehouse.Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce cost, and reduce errors (e.g., layout optimization, WMS utilization, automation).Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service to align inbound supply and outbound delivery with demand.Manage the logistics/warehouse operating budget and control costs against targets.Handle escalations related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or delivery issues.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5-8 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and transportation management.Experience managing carriers, 3PLs, and freight negotiations.Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and regulatory compliance.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising warehouse/logistics staff.Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) is a plus.
