A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse – Tissue & Organ Donation to support and coordinate clinical activities related to organ and tissue donation.
The successful candidate will provide senior-level nursing support, contribute to donor identification and management, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, ethical and efficient donation processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior-level nursing care to potential and confirmed organ and tissue donors.
• Support the identification, referral and assessment of potential donors.
• Coordinate donor care activities in collaboration with physicians and transplant teams.
• Monitor donor clinical status and support appropriate donor management.
• Assist with the coordination of organ and tissue retrieval procedures.
• Liaise with intensive care, emergency, operating theatre, laboratory and transplant teams.
• Provide education and support to patients' families throughout the donation process.
• Ensure accurate documentation of donor assessments, clinical interventions and outcomes.
• Support compliance with applicable organ and tissue donation policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing clinical protocols and workflows.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff.
• Participate in staff education and training related to organ and tissue donation.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Contribute to service development and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
