We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Urologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions, perform appropriate diagnostic and surgical procedures, and provide comprehensive patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive urological consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
Diagnose and manage disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Manage conditions including urinary tract infections, kidney and ureteric stones, prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and other urological conditions.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic urological procedures within the scope of expertise.
Perform procedures such as cystoscopy, catheterization, and endoscopic interventions where qualified.
Manage patients with urinary obstruction, hematuria, recurrent infections, and other urological emergencies.
Evaluate and manage patients with prostate enlargement and other prostate-related disorders.
Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up for urological procedures.
Counsel patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up.
Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, and clinical documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage as required.
