This involves cooking assigned food items according to production schedules, ensuring the quality of ingredients, and adhering to food safety protocols. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, using equipment properly, attending training, and striving for personal development in culinary expertise. Collaboration with the Chef and colleagues is essential to achieve operational excellence.What You Will Do:Food ProductionPrepare food according to the production schedule allocated by the Chef.Ensure all ingredients are available from stores and of good quality for timely food production.Produce high-quality food by following standard recipes and using correct ingredients.Use equipment correctly and report breakdowns or failures to the Chef.Food Safety and Quality ControlFollow all food safety rules and ensure safe production and storage of food.Minimize exposure of food items to unacceptable temperature and humidity levels.Maintain a clean work station as per cleaning schedules.Attend and participate in food safety and other relevant training sessions.Continuous Improvement and CollaborationActively work with the Chef to increase knowledge and expertise in all areas of production.Perform other related functions as assigned.Make suggestions for process improvements to line management.Coordinate with other front-line colleagues for inputs to a fixed process.Required Skills To Be Successful:Proficiency in English communication.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Basic computer skills, particularly with MS Office.Ability to follow strict safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.What Qualifies You For The Role:Secondary Degree required.A minimum of 2 years experience in a service environment, ideally in sales or hospitality.Strong communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and understand English.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.About Al-Futtaim Group Real EstateThe real estate development and operations arm of Al-Futtaim, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate is responsible for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across MENA.
