Requirements
Proficient in AutoCAD.Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.Familiarity with Navisworks is an advantage.Good understanding of architectural construction methods and detailing.Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.Knowledge of local building regulations and international drafting standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.experience in architectural drafting within construction or consulting firms.Experience in commercial, institutional, residential, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
Description
Prepare architectural shop drawings based on approved design documents.Produce detailed architectural drawings for construction and fabrication.Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.Revise and update drawings based on consultant, client, or project team comments.Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and landscape disciplines to eliminate clashes.Prepare as-built drawings reflecting actual site conditions.Verify dimensions, levels, and construction details for accuracy and completeness.Maintain proper document control, revision history, and drawing registers.Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, applicable building codes, and company CAD/BIM standards.Support the technical office and site engineers by providing timely drawing updates.Participate in design coordination meetings when required.Assist in quantity take-offs from architectural drawings when requested.Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy drawing archives.Perform site visits as necessary to verify existing conditions and completed work .
