The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions. The role involves collaboration with plastic surgeons, neurosurgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, pediatricians, orthodontists, speech therapists, ENT specialists, and other allied healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Key responsibilities Diagnose, evaluate, and surgically manage congenital and acquired craniofacial abnormalities in pediatric patients. Perform complex craniofacial reconstructive procedures, including treatment of: Craniosynostosis Cleft lip and palate (where applicable) Craniofacial syndromes Facial asymmetry Orbital deformities Craniofacial trauma Skull and facial bone deformities Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary craniofacial team. Participate in multidisciplinary craniofacial clinics and case conferences. Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical intervention, and comprehensive post-operative care. Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, and long-term follow-up. Manage surgical emergencies related to pediatric craniofacial conditions. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programs.
