Engineer – BIM / Electrical / Civil Projects / MEP / Projects / Design / QA/QC / Testing & CommissioningProject Engineering & ExecutionSupport day-to-day engineering and site execution activities for power projects.Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and technical documents.Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.Monitor work progress, material availability, manpower, and site readiness.Identify technical issues and support timely resolution.Assist with inspections, snag clearance, handover, and as-built documentation.Civil ProjectsSupervise civil works including excavation, foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, roads, drainage, buildings, and structural works.Review civil drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.Ensure works comply with approved drawings and project quality standards.Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, consultants, and electrical teams.BIMDevelop, update, and maintain BIM models and project drawings.Coordinate BIM activities with civil, structural, electrical, and MEP disciplines.Identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues.Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built models.Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards and requirements.Electrical Engineering & DesignSupport electrical design and engineering activities for power and substation projects.Review SLDs, layouts, cable schedules, earthing, lighting, protection, control, and auxiliary systems.Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, and material documentation.Coordinate electrical designs with civil, MEP, SCADA, telecom, and other disciplines.Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and utility requirements.MEPCoordinate MEP works for substations and associated facilities.Review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, ventilation, drainage, and auxiliary systems.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Monitor MEP installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.QA/QC – Civil & ElectricalImplement project Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspection requirements.Conduct inspections and verify works against approved drawings and specifications.Review material inspection requests, test certificates, and quality documentation.Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.Record and follow up on NCRs, defects, and corrective actions.Maintain quality records for project handover and closeout.Testing & CommissioningSupport testing and commissioning activities for electrical and substation systems.Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, consultants, and commissioning teams.Assist in testing transformers, switchgear, GIS, protection, control, cables, earthing, and auxiliary systems.Review test procedures and ensure completion of testing documentation.Support troubleshooting, energization, snag closure, and final handover.HSE & ComplianceEnsure compliance with company, project, client, and UAE HSE requirements.Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures.Participate in site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.Report unsafe conditions and support closure of HSE observations.
