About the Role
As an Arabic & Islamic Studies KG Teacher, you will play an important role in creating a warm, engaging and supportive learning environment where young children can develop their Arabic language skills and build a strong foundation in Islamic values and knowledge.
The successful candidate will deliver age-appropriate, engaging learning experiences that encourage children's curiosity, confidence and love for learning while promoting positive values, respect and cultural awareness.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education or a relevant field.
Recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
Strong command of Arabic, both written and spoken.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Good understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience teaching Arabic and/or Islamic Studies in a KG, nursery or early years setting.
Experience working with young children and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
Knowledge of UAE early years education requirements and relevant curriculum expectations is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons for KG children.
Develop children's Arabic language skills through creative activities, stories, songs, games and classroom experiences.
Introduce children to age-appropriate Islamic values, teachings and traditions in a positive and engaging manner.
Create a warm, safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Support children's social, emotional, language and communication development.
Monitor and assess children's progress and maintain appropriate learning records.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual children's learning needs.
Build positive and professional relationships with parents and communicate effectively regarding children's progress and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with educators and other members of the nursery team.
Participate in school/nursery events, celebrations and extracurricular activities.
Contribute to a positive team culture and support the wider goals of KFG.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and child wellbeing.
Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
