We are looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) to lead all efforts around operational risk management, asset protection, loss prevention, and physical & digital security in a fast-paced quick commerce environment. The role requires strategic oversight, real-time responsiveness, and a hands-on approach to prevent losses across warehouses, dark stores, and last-mile logistics operations.Key Responsibilities:1. Loss Prevention Strategy & ExecutionDesign and implement a comprehensive loss prevention framework covering inventory shrinkage, pilferage, fraud, damages, and delivery theft.Analyze operational risks and identify vulnerabilities across the supply chain.Drive preventive and corrective actions using data insights, audits, and root cause analysis.2. Security OperationsBuild and manage physical security protocols for all facilities: dark stores, micro-fulfillment centers, hubs, and regional distribution centers.Set up and monitor access control, surveillance (CCTV), alarm systems, and emergency response procedures.Lead the security response team for on-ground incidents, thefts, or breaches.3. Delivery & Rider Risk ManagementImplement security measures for rider and last-mile operations including package integrity, rider behavior monitoring, and real-time delivery exception tracking.Create SOPs for lost/missing packages, customer disputes, and fraudulent delivery claims.Coordinate with legal and HR for action on violations or misconduct.4. Audits, Compliance & InvestigationsLead periodic risk audits at stores and warehouses; implement audit readiness processes.Conduct investigations into suspicious activities, theft, or fraud (internal/external).Ensure compliance with local laws, labor safety norms, and internal policies.5. Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementManage external security agencies, vendors for surveillance equipment, and security technology.Collaborate with operations, HR, finance, and legal teams for seamless integration of LP policies.Report to senior management on risk metrics, incident trends, and security posture.6. Data-Driven Risk MonitoringWork with analytics/BI teams to develop dashboards for shrinkage trends, incident hotspots, and exception reporting.Use real-time data to anticipate and address potential threats proactively.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Business, or a related field.
