Job Purpose:The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards, ensuring accurate results, safety, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for testing.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.Record, review, and report test results accurately.Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GLP, and EHS requirements.Support OOS investigations and routine calibration activities.Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and chemicals.Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe laboratory environment.Report abnormalities, deviations, and equipment issues to the supervisor.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Conduct home visits/off-site assignments when required based on business or project needs.
