Position overview
A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an American Board-Certified Specialist Psychiatrist to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric assessment and treatment across a diverse patient population.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Manage patients with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and departmental activities.
Provide patient and family counselling and education.
Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
American Board Certification in Psychiatry.
Valid professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
Relevant clinical experience in Psychiatry.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility for UAE licensing in accordance with applicable PQR requirements. Final professional title is subject to regulatory authority assessment.
