Job Description - Physician AssistantLocation: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesWe are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physicians to provide high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting with diagnosis and treatment, performing clinical procedures within the approved scope of practice, and ensuring compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations under physician supervision. Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the approved scope of practice. Order, interpret, and review laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests as authorized. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Assist in the management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform approved clinical procedures such as wound care, suturing, catheterization, venipuncture, arterial blood gas sampling, ECG interpretation, and other procedures within granted clinical privileges. Assist in emergency patient stabilization and resuscitation as required. Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary case discussions. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare. Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive electronic medical records. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement standards. Participate in clinical audits, continuing medical education (CME), and departmental educational activities.
