Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar industries is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and production equipment.Good knowledge of pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve recurring mechanical problems.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Good command of MS Office and Excel.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Senior Mechanical EngineerDepartment: Engineering / MaintenanceLocation: EgyptIndustry: Food Manufacturing / FMCGJob PurposeResponsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment improvement, and supporting engineering projects to ensure smooth and continuous production.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and production machinery.Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and identify root causes to minimize equipment downtime.Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical equipment and recommend improvements.Handle maintenance of pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other industrial equipment.Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure maintenance activities are completed on time.Coordinate with Production and other Engineering functions to resolve equipment-related issues.Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians when required.Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of mechanical equipment and production lines.Review technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for maintenance activities and technical requirements.Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance costs.Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintenance procedures.
