Purpose of the JobThis position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by receiving, storing, and shipping Coptic Orphans Organization supplies and materials. The Warehouse Specialist will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure the safety and security of the warehouse, and contribute to a well-organized and efficient work environment.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming purchases to verify the quantity and type against purchase orders and check for any damage or defects. Record the received goods data in the inventory management system. Organize, arrange, and store goods in a systematic and that ensures easy access, proper labeling, and the safety of equipment and tools used in the warehouse. Additionally, monitor storage conditions. Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This includes tracking quantities received, consumed, and dispensed. Regularly update inventory records to ensure data accuracy and record dispensing operations in the logs. Prepare and distribute orders to employees or internal departments as instructed, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained. Coordinate with shipping companies and schedule receipts as needed. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies in stock levels and Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse operations, and any discrepancies or issues. Monitor inventory levels, maintain minimum stock levels, and determine restocking orders when necessary.
