Requirements
Requires 2+ years of experience in data management or technical records within the aeronautical industry. Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills, previous experience with database programs and understanding of database protocols is desirable. Self-driven with a focus on data integrity and ability to work independently.
Description
Purpose: The Data Management Analyst preserves the integrity, thereby protecting the value of the asset, of all technical records produced, provided and administered between DAE and the Customer Airline in relation to each aircraft of the DAE fleet, in a timely and effective manner.Key Result Areas:Conduct basic and comprehensive data analysis of inspection reports and support data as required and in a timely mannerUploading, indexing and filing of aircraft records in electronic records system - ADEPTUploading, indexing and filing of aircraft data in electronic data storage database - ODINAssist in collection of data, liaise with inspectors/airlines as necessaryAssist with the ongoing maintenance (Admin) and development, functional testing and reporting of additions/improvements to ODIN and ADEPTProduce clear and concise responses to requests for data from all the departments within DAEAnalyze as required, in a timely manner, all utilization reports provided by airlines for the DAE fleet, communicating with airline to resolve any utilization report issuesResponsible for managing DAE technical library requirements:Liaising with OEM to place orders for publications requiredArranging amendment services to be transferred as requiredAid DAE in obtaining technical data from OEM's, vendor and regulatory authoritiesSupport DAE administrator(s) for MyBoeingFleet and AirbusWorldEnsure Data Management internal/externalSkills & Experience:Self-driven and results orientated with a clear focus on data integrity and high qualityIntermediate to advancedcomputer skillsPrevious use of databaseprograms and understanding ofdatabase protocols desirableAbility to work with diverse groupof team membersSelf-starter, able to workindependently, often withminimal supervisionPrevious aviation experience withaircraft records anddocumentation2+ years experience in data management / technical records within the aeronautical industry
