The role is primarily focused on maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness while supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation and daily operations. Key responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and work areas. Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks. Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as instructed. Support the kitchen team during food preparation and service. Ensure ingredients, utensils, and equipment are properly organized and readily available. Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies when required. Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards. Assist with other general kitchen duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
