Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.1–3 years of HSE experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Good practical knowledge of occupational safety, fire safety, emergency response, risk assessment, incident investigation, and environmental requirements.Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements is highly preferred.Good understanding of Egyptian occupational safety and environmental regulations.HSE, OSHA, fire safety, first aid, or related professional certifications are an advantage.Strong documentation and reporting skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with workers, technicians, engineers, and management.Must be comfortable working on the shop floor and conducting regular inspections throughout the factory, not only performing office/documentation work.Organized, observant, proactive, and able to follow up issues until corrective actions are completed.Working Days: Saturday to Thursday

Intertrade is looking for a hands-on HSE Specialist to join our team and take responsibility for the daily implementation, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities across our manufacturing facility.Location: 10th of Ramadan CityKey Responsibilities:Implement and follow up all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures, policies, and requirements across the factory.Conduct regular daily and weekly shop-floor safety inspections and ensure unsafe conditions and unsafe acts are identified and corrected.Maintain all required HSE documentation, records, registers, checklists, forms, and reports.Conduct and regularly update risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA) for factory activities, machinery, and work areas.Monitor the correct use and availability of PPE and ensure employees comply with safety requirements.Manage and routinely inspect fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire alarm systems, emergency exits, emergency lighting, evacuation routes, and other firefighting equipment.Maintain firefighting equipment inspection records and coordinate required maintenance, testing, and refilling.Develop, maintain, and test the factory Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan.Organize and document fire and emergency evacuation drills and follow up corrective actions resulting from drills.Ensure emergency exits, assembly points, firefighting equipment, and evacuation routes remain accessible and properly identified at all times.Conduct HSE induction for new employees and provide regular safety awareness and toolbox training for employees and contractors.Prepare and communicate toolbox talks, safety instructions, warning signs, and HSE awareness materials.Investigate accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions, perform root cause analysis, and follow up corrective and preventive actions.Maintain accident, incident, near-miss, first-aid, and corrective-action records and prepare periodic HSE statistics and reports.Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) requirements for high-risk activities such as hot work, electrical work, work at height, confined spaces, and contractor activities where applicable.Monitor machine safety, guarding, electrical safety, chemical handling, material storage, housekeeping, and safe working practices throughout the facility.Maintain chemical registers and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure chemicals are correctly stored, handled, labeled, and disposed of.Monitor environmental requirements including waste segregation, hazardous waste, chemical spills, emissions, resource consumption, and environmental controls.Coordinate the proper handling, storage, documentation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.Ensure adequate first-aid arrangements, first-aid boxes, emergency equipment, and inspection records are maintained.Monitor contractors and external workers to ensure compliance with factory HSE rules before and during work.Follow up HSE corrective actions and ensure identified safety issues are closed within agreed deadlines.Maintain HSE inspection schedules and ensure all required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual HSE routines are completed and documented.Support compliance with applicable Egyptian HSE and environmental legal requirements and maintain required records and documentation.Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.Participate in internal audits, external audits, risk assessments, corrective actions, and management reviews related to HSE.Prepare and monitor HSE KPIs and provide regular reports to management on incidents, risks, inspections, corrective actions, training, and compliance status.Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, HR, and other departments to continuously improve factory safety and environmental performance.
