The successful candidate will support the management and coordination of nursing services, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff performance, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse manager will work closely with physicians, nursing teams, and hospital administration to ensure efficient daily operations and a safe, patient-centered environment. Key responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the nursing department/unit. Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care. Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff and ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling. Monitor nursing performance and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures. Participate in recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff. Develop and maintain staff schedules, duty rosters, and shift coverage. Monitor patient care standards, documentation, infection prevention, and medication safety. Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies. Identify clinical risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Monitor nursing quality indicators, patient outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Investigate incidents, complaints, and clinical issues and escalate them appropriately. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Support implementation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Maintain appropriate nursing documentation and operational records.
