Cost & Inventory Controller – Steel ManufacturingLocation: Alexandria, EgyptWork Schedule: Saturday to Thursday (8 hours per day)We are seeking a highly motivated Cost & Inventory Controller with proven experience in the iron and steel manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production costs, controlling inventory, and ensuring accurate reporting to support operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Manage practical project and production order costing (Job/Project Costing).- Compare planned materials (BOM) against actual material consumption.- Analyze scrap, waste, and rework.- Evaluate material, labor, and overhead variances.- Calculate and analyze cost per ton and overall manufacturing costs.- Monitor working hours, overtime, and labor productivity.- Review external processing costs (e.g., galvanizing, painting, machining).- Compare actual costs against estimated budgets.- Prepare and analyze the profitability of individual projects or production orders.- Monitor and reconcile inventory and Work-in-Progress (WIP).- Monitor stock levels and ensure accuracy of records through regular inventory counts and reconciliations.- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to track material movement, identify discrepancies, and report shortages or surpluses.- Ensure full compliance with company policies for inventory handling and documentation.Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control and inventory management.- Mandatory background in iron and steel plants or metal structure manufacturing.- Basic knowledge of free zone and customs procedures is preferred.How to Apply:Ready to take the next step in your career Send your CV directly to:[HIDDEN TEXT][HIDDEN TEXT]
